En “Hábitat”, la cama, espacio íntimo donde soñamos y mantenemos relaciones profundas, con nosotros mismos y con los demás, se transforma en un escenario para fundirnos con la naturaleza y recordar la energía vital que la Tierra nos brinda.
La obra se inscribe así en una visión biocéntrica, que nos sitúa como parte de un todo integrado, y nos invita a un acercamiento sensorial, no racional, a lo natural, mostrando que el deterioro ecológico es una herida autoinfligida y proponiendo la inmersión en lo natural como un camino de elevación espiritual. Por otra parte, al representar un mundo natural ficticio en el espacio íntimo de la cama, interroga la autenticidad del mundo que habitamos y construimos.
“Hábitat” actúa así́ como una critica a la creciente presencia de lo artificial en la vida cotidiana, alimentos, fragancias, moda, donde las imitaciones prefabricadas sustituyen a lo original y nos alertan sobre nuestra capacidad de habitar realidades confortables pero desconectadas de la esencia vital.

Thus, the work aligns itself with a biocentric vision, positioning us as part of an integrated whole, and invites a sensory—not rational—approach to the natural world, demonstrating that ecological deterioration is a self-inflicted wound, and proposing immersion in nature as a path to spiritual elevation. On the other hand, by representing a fictitious natural world within the intimate space of the bed, it questions the authenticity of the world we inhabit and build.
“Hábitat” thus acts as a critique of the growing presence of the artificial in our daily lives—food, fragrances, fashion—where prefabricated imitations replace the original, and warns us of our capacity to inhabit comfortable realities that are disconnected from the vital essence.
