En Genealogía la artista establece un juego con el botón de encendido de los televisores. Así el primer botón es el de un TV americano, el segundo el de un TV ruso, y el tercero el de un TV chino. 
El título de la obra refiere a distintos momentos de la historia de Cuba, en correspondencia con las diferentes correlaciones de poderes.

In Genealogy the artist establishes a game with the power button of the televisions. So the first button is that of an American TV, the second is that of a Russian TV, and the third is that of a Chinese TV.
