En contraste con aquella serie inicial —donde el cabello se mostraba libre, siguiendo sus formas naturales y azarosas—, en estas obras recientes el material se somete a una estructura. El cabello se ve obligado a adoptar configuraciones provenientes de la naturaleza, de la escritura o de instrumentos de medición y de sonido, como las cuerdas de un arpa, un reloj o una regla. Un solo cabello es símbolo de lo ínfimo, de lo casi inexistente; su fragilidad lo asocia con lo efímero y lo invisible. Sin embargo, al convertirlo en línea de dibujo, ese hilo mínimo adquiere una nueva dimensión: se transforma en trazo consciente, en una extensión del pensamiento. Así, el gesto de dibujar con cabello une lo material y lo mental, lo corporal y lo simbólico, revelando la sutileza con que lo más pequeño puede contener lo esencial.

The pieces created using the artist’s own hair belong to the series It´s all in Your Head, which traces its origins back the series of hair drawings Every Shape of Time (2000).
In contrast to that initial series—where the hair appeared free, following its natural and spontaneous forms—in these more recent works the material is subjected to structure. The hair is compelled to adopt configurations derived from nature, from writing, or from instruments of measurement and sound, such as the strings of a harp, a clock, or a ruler. A single strand of hair symbolizes the infinitesimal, the almost nonexistent; its fragility associates it with the ephemeral and the invisible. Yet, when transformed into a line of drawing, that minimal thread acquires a new dimension—it becomes a conscious trace, an extension of thought. Thus, the act of drawing with hair unites the material and the mental, the bodily and the symbolic, revealing the subtle way in which the smallest element can contain the essence of all things
