“¿Cuánto mide la costa de Gran Bretaña?” fue la pregunta que se hizo Benoit Mandelbrot y que terminaría en el descubrimiento de la teoría y fórmula de  los fractales. Como él, la artista ha observado la naturaleza y ha encontrado similitudes entre patrones tales como el contorno de una isla y un relámpago, las venas del cuerpo y los ríos, y otras muchas asociaciones que ha dejado plasmadas en obras anteriores. Estas obras no son más que la prueba visual de que estos elementos fueron creados por la misma energía, sólo que manifestada en distintas proporciones. Y al reconocer esta energía común sabremos que somos parte de un todo interrelacionado, que al dañar a una de sus partes nos estamos dañando a nosotros mismos.

“How long is the coast of Britain?” was the question that Benoit Mandelbrot asked himself and that would end in the discovery of his fractals theory and formula. Like him, the artist has observed nature and has found similarities between patterns such as the contour of an island and a lightning bolt, the veins of the body and rivers, and many other associations that she has represented in previous works. These works are nothing more than visual proof that these elements were created by the same energy, only that manifested in different proportions. And by recognizing this common energy we will acknowledge that we are part of an interrelated whole, that by harming one of its parts we are harming ourselves.
