Hábitat refleja algunas de las preocupaciones principales de la artista: la confluencia entre lo natural y lo artificial, el intersticio entre lo efímero y lo trascendente, la microexistencia del ser y la magnificiencia de la Tierra. 
Un mundo natural es representado en un ambiente tan familiar como nuestra habitación, pero es un mundo ficticio. ¿Cuán real es el mundo en que vivimos: ese que más cerca tenemos y adonde regresamos cada noche? Y ¿Cómo sería si fuésemos totalmente conscientes de que la tierra es nuestra casa?

Habitat resumes some of the artist concerns: the confluence between the natural and artificial, the interstice between the ephemeral and transcendent, the microexistence of human being and the magnificence of Earth.
A natural world is represented in a familiar environment as our room, but it is a fictional world. How real is the world we live in: that one which is so close to us and to which we return every night? And how would it be if we would be really aware that Earth is our home?
