Following the aesthetic of Christo & Jeanne-Claude’s Surrounded Islands series, this installation offers an ironic and absurd illustration of Fidel Castro’s attempt to conceal the world and control the way Cuba’s inhabitants perceived it. The white threads trace that intention.
