La serie Metamorfosis modifica elementos sonoros –tales como las tapas del piano o las arpas- a partir de su visualidad. Así estas nuevas esculturas, aunque silenciosas, mantienen cierta vibración sonora en la mente del espectador producto de su memoria cultural (de tanto escuchar pianos sonando, hay algo que se activa en su mente y en su cuerpo al ver el instrumento, aún sin ser tocado). Hay cierta dosis de sinestesia… la intención es ver el sonido y escuchar la imagen. Por otra parte, el título y la forma de mariposa conseguida, constituyen una alusión a la transformación que ha sufrido un objeto sonoro que ahora deviene en un objeto visual, en una escultura.

Metamorphosis series  modifies sound elements –such as the grand piano covers or the harps- from their visuality. Thus, these new sculptures, although silent, maintain a certain sound vibration in the mind of spectators due to their cultural memory (from so much listening to pianos sounding, there is something that it is activated in their mind and in their body when seeing an instrument, even if it is not being played). There is a certain dose of synesthesia… The intention is to see the sound and to hear the image. The title and the butterfly shape obtained constitute an allusion to the transformation of a sound object into a visual object, a sculpture.
